Vitriform3D

You spend most of your life in buildings, but how often do stop to consider the environmental impact of those buildings?  The materials used in our buildings cause 11% of global greenhouse gas emissions, and much of this comes from concrete and other hard surfaces. Architects are increasingly switching over to more sustainable material options, and the green construction market has grown to over $110BN with a 12% CAGR.  However, low-embodied carbon options for concrete-like materials remain limited.

Neurodiverse Technologies

We developed SANDI (Simulator for Advanced Neurodiverse Driving Instruction), an AI-driven virtual reality driving simulator designed to help neurodiverse teens and adults, particularly those on the autism spectrum, build confidence, learn driving skills, and overcome driving anxiety. SANDI leverages adaptive training modules and physiological feedback systems to provide a safe, structured learning environment. Our solution integrates advanced AI algorithms, real-time biometric monitoring, and data-driven performance assessments to personalize the learning experience.

Mobius AI, Inc.

Mobius AI, Inc. is a software technology company leveraging Artificial Intelligence to provide a B2B SaaS product for transportation companies and municipalities. If people or things need to be moved on any vehicle platform, then our product can be used. In the transportation industry’s current state, fleets are a major source of inefficiency and complexity, especially as they struggle to adapt to newer technological disruptions of electrification and autonomy. Current transportation technologies cannot simultaneously optimize routing, manage disruptions, improve services, and save energy.

Alluminate, Inc.

Our goal is to create better batteries for electric vehicles using cheaper, domestically-available materials. This will involve commercializing a new aluminum-based foil anode technology, which will enable the manufacturing of batteries with higher energy density, longer cycle life, and improved safety compared to the state of the art. This technology has better performance, lower manufacturing costs, and enhanced materials sustainability compared to other battery technologies.  The battery market is rapidly growing in the US due to the enormous demand for electric vehicle production.

ARTS Surgical Inc.

As a spinoff from UT Austin, ARTS Surgical Inc. is pioneering a new era in orthopedic and neurosurgical procedures with our state-of-the-art steerable drilling robotic system. Our mission is to revolutionize minimally invasive surgeries by enhancing precision, safety, and efficiency in diagnosing and treating conditions involving complex hard tissue anatomies. A key limitation of current surgical tools lies in their rigidity, which restricts access to straight-line trajectories and prevents clinicians from reaching deep, intricate anatomical regions.

Imagine Devices

Imagine Devices Inc. specializes in minimally invasive solutions for vital sign monitoring in clinical care. Our flagship product, the Trinity Tube, is a sterile, multifunctional feeding catheter designed to address critical unmet needs in neonatal intensive care units (NICUs). It enhances safety, accuracy, and efficiency in the care of premature infants by integrating feeding, abdominal gas venting, and vital sign monitoring into a single device.

Lumaegis, Inc

Steam sterilizers take hours to sterilize, damage expensive assets over multiple cycles and can be a source for recontamination. Also, they require de-ionized water and significant amounts of electricity to operate and have become an increasing economic burden on oral and medical care.

Orion Therapeutics

RNA technology thus has the potential to revolutionize medicine with life-saving and even curative treatments for previously unmet clinical needs, including cancers, autoimmune disorders, and neurodegenerative diseases. The primary bottleneck in the translation of the 1300+ early-stage RNA programs in existence has been the biological delivery system, not the RNA drug payload itself, due to toxicity, immunogenicity, and the inability to target specific cells, tissues, and organs, leading to off-target effects.

WEAV3D Inc.

High-performance lightweight composites, once reserved for aerospace, racing, and high-performance sports, have failed to penetrate mass-market applications due to high production costs, slow manufacturing speeds, and low scalability. As a result, mass-market manufacturers are constrained to using inexpensive, heavily reinforced metals or plastics. These materials are heavier, bulkier, prone to corrosion, and limit design flexibility, driving inefficiencies across industries.  The reliance on these sub-optimal materials compounds problems:

EarthEn Energy

Solar and wind need energy storage to enable renewable energy 24/7 and be 100% reliant on solar & wind. Thus, customers need flexible energy storage solutions that are future-proof to grow with the grid’s needs - which doesn’t exist today. Current energy storage solutions aren’t affordable, scalable, safe nor are they flexible or future-proof. EarthEn develops flexible and future-proof long duration energy storage to store 4-100+ hours of energy using CO2 in a closed loop at a low cost, highly scalable & safe manner with over a 30 year lifetime value.
